United Way of Denton County's VITA program requires all participants to wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth while participating in free tax preparation.

What do I need to get my taxes prepared for free?

• Household earns up to (not over) $64,000
• Social Security Card or ITIN Card / Letter for everyone on the tax return
• Photo ID with name for taxpayer and spouse, such as a driver's license, state ID, school ID, or passport
• Employment and other income-related tax documents (W2, 1099, etc.)
• Any other official tax-related documents or IRS letters. Click here for a list of some (but not all) forms you may have received

• Ensure that you do not have any of these tax issues that we are not allowed to prepare
