I don't think this post-apocalyptic novel got enough love or attention when it came out. Too bad, it's the kind of book that you won't be able to put down.

I'm fairly new to the scene of post-apocalyptic tales, so they're still quite thrilling as a whole. And while the first half delivers (the arrival of Them, surviving in a world of silence, fear, and unspeakable violence), by the time Amy…

At first read, you think it's just your typical alien invasion with all the basic parts from years of television. I must say, I truly enjoyed the author's story and vision for the book. It's nothing enormous or fancy, but offers more than…

I gave this 2 1/2 stars & felt the first-time authoress did a decent job with her imagination. When I first started this I had great hesitation that it was going to be much too youth directed. Also, the idea of aliens being in 'monster…

I'm middle aged and I couldn't put the book down. I've read plenty of zombie/post-apocalyptic stories and this one, perhaps because of the young age of the main characters, surviving and dying living in a world with horrific killing…

I thought it was really good in a way of mixing si-fi and post apocalyptic together in one book. I also liked the two different perspectives one for the future and one for the present.

Demitria Lunetta delivers a surprisingly entertaining tale in In the After. From your initial contact with the (insert standard PA monster trope) that she turns on its head to the constant wondering of “What’s her crazy” that she plays…

The story grabs you from the first page- and our library copy is well-worn - always a good sign. Will be ordering a new copy.

This book is amazing and I think that it could have been better because the story got a slow at times. It is a great book and anyone who liked this should read the book called POD!
