This book is a total sham. It has been proven that Gould falsely accused Samuel Morton of faking his skull measurements to prove that Morton was a racist, and that by extension, anyone who argues the genetic basis for intelligence is a racist. As the New York Times (hardly a right-wing rag) points out, not only did they prove Gould wrong and Morton right, when Gould updated this book for a second edition, he left out the study clearing Morton. Pure ideological and academic dishonesty.
