This is an excellent selection of 400 (out of 1,775) poems by Dickinson. NB: D's original capitalization and punctuation have been regularized for this Modern Library edition. If you'd rather read the (complete) poems as they appear in Dickinson's manuscripts, then I suggest borrowing either the Thomas Johnson or R. Franklin editions. I myself like Dickinson's eccentric and original transcriptions, but many do not. Try both!
LOVE Dickinson. She writes with seasoned spontaneity, capturing thoughts both minute and all-encompassing as if every spark of an idea never had a chance of evading her.
