Excellent story , just like most of Mildred D Taylor's books .
Hard to understand how prejudice and racism reigned back in the day , but sadly it did . Was quite glad to read how the Logan family bested the mean , bullying white family and actually makes one happy they did . Very good book , would recommend it .

Mildred Taylor is one of my favorite authors and, in my opinion, grossly under-appreciated - re-rereading this book for World Water Day March 22!

Another great Logan family tale.
Your anger is sure to peak as the Logan's have to deal with racism and lack of power in the rural south.
