Spandau Prison has only one inmate: the most closely guarded prisoner in the world. His name is Rudolf Hess. A Nazi -- and one with a damaging tale to tell. Only Berlin correspondent Red Goodbody -- a newshound with courage and panache -- will be able to get close enough to the prisoner to unravel the mysteries of Spandau. But the KGB and M15, for opposing reasons, must protect the dangerous secret Hess may feel compelled to reveal.

Add a CommentUnless you are an aficionado of WWII, this story is technical and a bit of a slog to read. There are some torrid sex scenes thrown in that do not advance the plot and objectify the female characters. The story flips from 1940's to present day which results in shallow characterizations and unnecessarily complex plot line. Good idea but not well executed.
