We have reached a time in America when really, really tough questions must be asked, and answers must be demanded: how many others besides Richard Holbrooke, never qualified for foreign service yet were hired on the basis of family connections?
How many of the top 50 to 100 of the CIA people had one or more parents, or grandparents, who were members of Adolf Hitler's Third Reich?
How many other official journalists besides Anderson Cooper [CNN] and David Ignatius [WaPo] interned at the CIA during their college years?
Tough questions which deserve serious answers . . .
[Oh yeah, this is Holbrooke's book on the war on the Serbs and Roma, utilizing al Qaeda - - a constant, it seems, with the neoliberals!]
