This is the music of my adolescence. I think it's pretty great.
A stunning musical album of woman empowerment and a lot of fun as well--these are songs you can dance, clench your fist, and sing along to. The standout is the towering, merciless "You Oughta Know" which works, by the way, as an expression of gay male as well as straight female anger and confrontation. Superb.
