Kadir Nelson's art is amazing. You have to see it. But I guarantee that you cannot physically say the words "puppy" and "please" out loud as many times as they're written in this book, so I recommend you get this one before your kids can read so they won't notice you're leaving out some of the repetitions!

This story of a pair of siblings dealing with their mischievous dog is just so adorable! Wonderfully sunny artwork by the amazing Kadir Nelson capture the silliness and joy of the story so well!

The bright, bold artwork is perfect for this romp with two kids and their exuberant puppy. The angles are fun because we're often down low looking up at the puppy in all his silly joy. It puts us right in the middle of all the action. Great for story time.
