If you like cats, then you are probably gonna enjoy this book.

Pleasantly written by cat behaviour specialist, Vicky Halls - "Cat Confidential" deals with the psychology, training, and understanding of cats who seem to live in a world all of their own sometimes.

Meet Vicky Halls. She is the "Mary Poppins" of the feline world. And her cat told her to write this book. (Ha! Just kidding!)

Being a leading cat behaviour specialist - Vicky considers "Cat Confidential" to be the definitive book on the subject of feline psychology.

Filled with interesting case studies (both professional and personal), smile-worthy anecdotes, and plenty of no-nonsense advice - "Cat Confidential" conscientiously explores the hidden relationship between cats and people.

This book reveals the innermost secrets of the feline psyche.

So - If you are a cat owner - This is definitely the very book that your kitty-cat (if he/she could talk) would tell you to read. (Perhaps you 2 can read it together)

I recommend this book to anyone who lives with cats. It is written with insight and compassion for both the animals and their "humans", who think they are doing the right thing but are not really acting in their pets' best interests. The use of plenty of case histories along with with anecdotes about the author's own cats add interest and readability.

It is a refreshing change to read a book written by a cat behaviorist, as opposed to a veterinarian.

Although based in England, this applies to cats anywhere. It brings up some interesting thoughts on different problems that can come up, especially in multi-cat households. To stop cats urinating all over the place, which some owners put up with for at least a decade, there is the rule of 1 box per cat plus 1.
