(SPOILERS)Homecoming is a perfect name for volume 28 of Naruto because all our favorite characters have returned from a 2 and a half year break where they've been gone doing various training and living their lives. Naruto although not as much as the others has matured greatly within this time span, and the others although not as much as Naruto have greatly increased their strength. This volume shows us the changes each character has gone through and begins the ark of which the Akatsuki begins to make their moves and try to capture each and every jinchuuriki and extract their tailed beast. A very significant fact in this volume is that everyone but Naruto has increased their titles above genin infact we even see that Gaara has become kazekage in the sand village. The volume ends off Gaara being captured by the Akatsuki and Tsunade sending reinforcement from the leaf coming for the rescue of their once close friend. This holds great significance because of the fact that Naruto is also a jinchurkis and this could have been him, he feels strongly and wants to bring back his friend which is essentially a foil of Naruto's character. This volume is pretty awesome in my opinion, my favorite part has to be seeing the now matured team 7 getting back together and doing the bell challenge with Kakashi. - @magicsoup of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
