This is a really great book for anyone just starting out sewing and is worried they know nothing about it. As the author points out, you don't need to! the projects are really simple - and the instructions are very clear and helpful. :) Just give it a shot!

Made a bag just like the one on the front page and a simple tote bag. Really good beginner's book.

My first book on sewing. It encouraged me to just try stuff out and not worry about knowing everything already! Good basic projects as far as I can tell.
