This delightful collection of stories is a peek into the day-to-day lives of a few of the beloved Oz characters that we have so long enjoyed reading about. The tales are short and sweet, featuring two main characters in each story.

From the Hungry Tiger and the Cowardly Lion trying to prove they are fierce to the Tin Woodman and the Scarecrow getting into a bit of trouble while boating, the tales tell of the strange and magical adventures that befall people in a fairyland such as Oz. Using the usual humor of L. Frank Baum, and perhaps a bit more than usual, 'Little Wizard Stories of Oz' made me laugh more than other Oz books.

If you enjoy the primary series, you will enjoy these little stories that look in on the folk of Oz when they are least expecting it. A wonderful collection of fascinating stories that I was thrilled to find!
