Another very good book by Karen Rose. When Special Agent Daniel Vartanian is assigned to a new case, he spots Alex Fallon who he pales and thinks he is seeing a ghost. Her twin sister was murdered at age 16 and they thought they had her killer. But now someone is copying how she was killed and found. But there are also a few people who know what had happened at that time and are getting nervous. Someone is out to kill a lot of women and anyone who they think is a threat to finding out what happened to Alex's sister. This is a page turning book that I didn't want to put down.

A great great read. Scary - chilling - suspenseful - right to the end. There are several other books by this author. Intend to read some to see if this quality continues throughout the rest.

Karen Rose is FANTASTIC!!!! I have read every one of her books. This one is as good as the first, which says a LOT, considering some authors cannot sustain good writing for more than a few novels.
Characters are always mentioned in a previous book and then given their own story later.
The link here is Special Agent Daniel Vartanian, who appeared in Rose's last book "Die for Me". His brother, Simon, was the evil-villain-monster in that one and this book picks up from there. Often, it isn't necessary to read the previous book but in this particular case, it might be helpful.
Anyway - this is 2 stories woven into one, which means LOTS of characters to keep track of and 2 parallel plots unfolding simultaneously. Daniel's love interest, Alex Fallon, has supressed terrible childhood memories but revealing them is integral to discovering who is committing copy-cat serial murders.
Even though this book seemed longer than some of her others, I couldn't rip myself away from it.
It was great!! And sooo many possible love relationships to try out in future books: Meredith, Luke, Chase, etc.
I can hardly wait for her next one!!!
