When Chelsea Handler needs to get a few things off her chest, she appeals to a higher power--vodka. Welcome to Chelsea's world--a place where absurdity reigns supreme and a quick wit is the best line of defense. In this collection, Chelsea mines her past for stories about her family, relationships, and career that are at once singular and ridiculous. Whether she's convincing her third-grade class that she has been tapped to play Goldie Hawn's daughter in the sequel to Private Benjamin, deciding to be more egalitarian by dating a redhead, or looking out for a foulmouthed, rum-swilling little person who looks just like her, only smaller, Chelsea has a knack for getting herself into the most outrageous situations. --From publisher description.

Possibly the funniest of all of Chelsea Handler's books. Her hilarious antics really come to life in this book. Chelsea's voice and sarcasm are at full force and come together to make this a laugh-out-loud hit.

Crass, rude, brutally honest and hilarious. A great and fun book if you don't take it too seriously.

Chelsea Handler: obnoxious, outrageous, racist, sarcastic, crude, hypocritical and yet... hilarious.

This audio book is read by Handler herself and is all the better for it. It's like listening to a six and a half hour stand-up routine. One of the rare instances where the audio book version is better than the book itself.

Would recommend to girlfriends! Laughed out loud quite a bit with this one!

This is definitely not her best book, although still worth checking out if you are a Handler fan.

I do enjoy watching 'Chelsea Lately' on the E! Network. I find her moments of sarcasm to be on point, but other times Ms. Handler can be groan inducing when she tries too hard. Certain chapters of this book reminded me why sometimes I delete shows off my DVR if they are too boring. Her first book was entertaining and had me laughing a lot. Only a few chuckles here and there. Mostly I wondered why at no point did her mouth and antics ever get her arse beaten. Until they did one day by three Latina's, which was actually more dumb then anything else.

This was my first Chelsea Handler book and loved it. It does not disappoint on the audio book front as she is reading it and adds to it her sarcasm and sense of humor.

Funny but not as funny as the other books of hers. Still read in one night so I guess that says something lol

Quick chapter vignettes from Chelsea's life. Are these all true? *whatever*, they're hilarious!
