A brilliant interactive story and lots of fun for little ones.
As with most things, the cats run this book. Interesting page shapes and strategic use of lift the flap sections will keep young eyes and hands busy.
I can see that children would love finding the cats in this book with pages that hide the cats and you have pages to flip up.
Children delight in the interaction this book invites. They get to unveil treats for the cats, rescue them from certain drowning, and even "blow" them dry. This one is a natural read aloud, perfect for storytime.
Fun lift the flaps book to share with children
In all honesty, I am not really a cat person. They are sneaky and they kind of creep me out. This book, however, is all kinds of fun and adorable. The little girls I read it with were absolutely charmed.
My little brother loves this book! He's 4.
My favorite parts were the yarn where a little cat says throw me some and then you turn something and he says oof and where you open up the boxes and they say stuff to you and there was another favorite part where one of the cats says pillow fight and the yellow and the red cats hit him with their pillow. I really like this book.
