I love this book! Yeah sure the plot line took a while to develop, the story was confusing at times but heck I still think her idea was amazing and the whole love story was great to. Tristan is such a special character and is very memorable as well. its a great how the"nerdy" characters get the "lead'' Finally.

I got through the book only because I really wanted to know what happened to Tristan, and well, everyone. But to be honest, it wasn't as interesting as I would've liked it to be. I thought the idea of the story was pretty creative, but the actual story itself didn't live up to the idea's expectations. I was especially upset with the ending, since I didn't understand what happened at all, and felt like something was missing. But I did get through the book. It just left a big, "that's it? wait...what happened?" kind of feeling at the end.

SUCH A GOOD BOOK!!!!!!!!
At first I wondered why it was so popular. The way it was written was so proper and at the time boring, I almost stopped reading it.
I'm so glad I didn't!
This book is unique, I couldn't put it down and finshed it in one day! The connection between Jill and Tristen, the mystery about the Hyde family, the contest, and the unexpected turn of events, all of it was amazing!
Beth Fantaskey has written a fantastic book, one unlike any other.

"I saw her face, Jill,"he continued loosening his grip on my arms, not so much restraining me as just holding me."I saw her face as she dies. As the monster killed her."

I studied Tristen's handsome face, thinking he was about as far, physically at least, from a "beast" as I could imagine. What he was saying, it was laughable. A weird joke. "You can't be telling me that you're descended from a...monster?" I asked.
