This series continues to be good. The First Born manages to be both pitiable and contemptible.

I expected more from the Artwork & Storyline.

Carrying on his run with the Amazonian warrior in the post New 52 reboot, Brian Azzarello continues to build on his story, tying Wonder Woman into the deities of Greek mythology in a way not seen before, and really emphasizing her character in the best of ways. The art, mostly by Cliff Chiang, was hard to get used to early on, but over time has grown on me.

"Flesh" continues to give Wonder Woman a proper dysfunctional family dynamic to go with the original dysfunctional family - the Olympians. However, the book ignores the MacGuffin that got all this started and now winds up the elephant in the room - Zola's baby. What is the point of that child, anyway? Plus, why has no one wondered who Zeus went by now? Holes in the plot aside, this volume shows everyone that Wonder Woman is a creature of belief. Belief in people, cosmic hope, and forgiveness. Naive? Never. Diana balances it by having great people skills and realistic planning in everything she does. Too subtle for most, but it's all there nevertheless. Grade A -
