This is organized by rooms; at the start of each section, she talks about what she has done in her house for a couple pages and shows a lot of pictures. She then has instructions for a couple of projects. About half of the projects are fiber-related. She does a lot with paint, both stamping fabric and actual painting; one of the projects is painting a mural on a wall!
I'd agree with the other reviewer and say that I liked how she gave a list of books. I looked up a lot of them in the library catalog and KCLS has a lot of them. :)

I really enjoyed this book. I loved her emphasis on colour as this can be a wonderful addition to a home. The ideas are fun and very flexible which makes it applicable to anyone if they wish to make it their own. It is eco friendly as she emphasizes reusing older items and making them over:). It is also nice that she lists her books that inspire her.
