At times this book was way more funny than scary, but that's ok. I enjoyed it anyway and there were some really creepy parts, too. Jack thinks he is a great guy with a fabulous sense of humor, but we find out as we continue with the story that his view of himself isn't exactly accurate. When we hear about him from other character's points of view we learn the truth. While he fancies himself a cutting edge blogger of the supernatural, most people just think he's a rude jerk. I wish there had been more from the other characters because Jack is so delusional that we only learn the truth when he is seen from another point of view. I would describe this book as a dark comedy/unreliable narrator and those are two of my favorite genres. I'm looking forward to reading more by this author!
