Growing up, Kate Priddy was always a bit neurotic, experiencing momentary bouts of anxiety that exploded into full blown panic attacks after an ex-boyfriend kidnapped her and nearly ended her life. When Corbin Dell, a distant cousin in Boston, suggests the two temporarily swap apartments, Kate, an art student in London, agrees, hoping that time away in a new place will help her overcome the recent wreckage of her life. But soon after her arrival at Corbin's grand apartment on Beacon Hill, Kate makes a shocking discovery: his next-door neighbor, a young woman named Audrey Marshall, has been murdered.

In the tradition of an Alfred Hitchcock story of suspense/thriller. Katy and Corbin switch homes in the middle of murder mystery that plays on every fear Katy ever had. Both have a dark past

One of the best suspense books I have read. Keeps your attention from start to finish. A real page turner.

I am going to say ditto to the other comments. I enjoyed this book so much that I may read it again. It was so full of twists and turns. I couldn't figure out who the bad guy was. And this to me is the best kind of mysteries. I will look for this author.

I didn't want to put this book down! I enjoyed how the author went in depth with each main character's background so you could understand their motivations. I also liked the different perspectives of the same events. Fans of Rear Window will like this thriller.

SO good. This is what I think of when it comes to a psychological thriller and it had me hooked from the first few pages. Interestingly enough, you find out the identify of the killer a little over halfway through and the rest of the story is dedicated to unraveling the events. This story is told through perspectives of different people which I really enjoyed. I've read quite a few reviews where people didn't like the ending because the story slows down or because you already know the killer at this point, but I didn't feel that way at all. You still wanted to race through the pages and I did just that. Do not hesitate with this one!

An atmospheric and looming thriller about a young London woman who swaps apartments with a distant cousin from Boston. While getting to know her new neighbors, she realizes her cousin was fleeing something unsaid - and now she's a target of a stalker. Swanson delivers the chills.
