On the last day of high school, mild-mannered English teacher Andy Campbell tries to keep it together amidst senior pranks, a dysfunctional administration, and budget cuts that put jobs on the line. Then he accidentally crosses his much tougher and deeply feared colleague, Ron Strickland, who challenges Campbell to an old-fashioned throw down. News of the fight spreads like wildfire and it ends up becoming the very thing the school, and Campbell, needs.

There were some pretty funny scenes with Charlie Day playing his usual neurotic but lovable character. Ice Cube always plays a good scary angry bully type, his usual character.

Nothing special, nothing else to do give it a try.

Having seen this randomly at the theater with a free ticket to burn, I can't recommend seeing this if you are expecting 'Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia' or 'Workaholics'-level comedy. I really don't want to give it one star because I like almost every character in it. Charlie Day, Jillian Bell, Tracy Morgan, even Ice Cube. They're each really enjoyable in other shows or movies. And it did offer a few chuckles here and there. It also manages to bring up a good point about modern school funding (or lack thereof). But it's not enough. The movie wasn't good. The comedy felt like an ongoing series of funny memes and gif's that get posted on social media. Being funny as an allusion to a point or complementing a response, but not making much sense on their own. It would be more forgivable if the cast didn't have people that are hilarious in other shows. I didn't hate it, but I wouldn't see it again.

Some good funny scenes. Worth a one time entertaining watch. Especially when the coach says he looks like a minion..lol. Definitely got the movie idea from 3 O'clock High which is a classic

Fist Fight brought back memories of those after school fights. This movie was funny. But! Not for kids due to language. Ice Cube can do some good comedy. This is a good funny adult movie.

One of those " I will give it a try and dont expect too much" movies that actually had a few chuckles and a couple Ha-ha moments. Yes its crude ( and if you dont like that kind of street talk then why did you rent this R rated movie???). The main reason it works is due to the two leads who are quite good in their roles and have fun with it.
Tracy Morgan should find a better avenue for his supporting talent, or at least better material because he just wasnt funny at all.
An okay 90 minutes spent that breaks up the monotony of the week.

Clever idea and some hilarious moments. But then there are long, stale moments that don't work at all. It's worth a watch, but I feel like they missed an opportunity to make a great comedy film. Maybe if it were fleshed out more it would have been better. Still, some funny moments and a fist fight that delivers.
