I've read every Stone Barrington book. This is absolutely the WORST of the lot. If you want something to put you to sleep while on a flight, this would do it. People who enjoy watching paint dry might find it passable. Stuart Woods isn't even trying anymore. As a retired teacher, I believe this would receive an "F" in a creative writing course.

Easy reading for the weekend. Good for travel and entertainment.

The series is usually light weight fare. But this seems even lighter - as if it is setting the stage for the next book. It could have used some additional editing or at least reviewed by someone with an understanding of the current political process. It seemed a bit dated in its approach to the President's election.

If there is nothing else to read, this can fill in the gap.

As with Stone, I enjoyed the pace of the story.
