If you know me, I've probably gifted you a copy of this book. It seems simple and childlike, but that's what makes it all the more profound. This one sits with you though happy and sad. A great book for empathy building and awareness.

Sometimes uplifting, sometimes sad, sometimes thought provoking. A good look at our relationship to our thoughts, to each other, and to mortality. I felt a little less lonely after reading it.

Execution is nifty, I was drawn to it. Conception is nutty, may inspire or sooth certain personalities or cultural upbringings. Too childish even for kids?

This is a philosophical picture book for adults. It's sometimes simple, most times tender and sentimental, and often thought provoking. Beware--it may give you enough insight into the idea of others that you'll find yourself unexpectedly sympathizing with a bee just before it stings you. These things can happen. Well worth the quick read if you feel like being a better aliebn.

Adorable and touching, if not a little sappy. But I personally think a little sappiness is good, and thoroughly enjoyed this quick-moving comic.

Cute, quick, and unexpectedly touching read about a naive alien who comes to Earth to study humans, mistakenly takes every living thing he encounters to be a human, and learns about life, friendship, and happiness in the process of his explorations.
Can be taken as just a cute story (the simple illustrations are adorable, everyone speaks fluent Typo, and there is humor sprinkled throughout) or as a philosophical exploration on appreciating existence.

It's the cutest collection of existential crises, ever.

Here is the unforgettable story of Jomny, a lonely alien who, for the first time ever, finds a home on our planet after learning that earthlings can feel lonely too.

I really enjoyed this book. Invoked laughter, sadness, empathy and longing. It looks like a kids book, and it is kid friendly; it also has deep existential topics, followed by short comedic relief.
I recommend this book, especially to those going through relationship hardships or philosophically minded.

I love this book so much! This might be my book of the year - the one that everyone gets for Christmas!

A really sweet read about friendship and trying to fit in. Once you get used to the spelling quirks, it's a fun book and good for all ages.
