This book is not only a cute introduction to a holy month that most Americans don't know anything about, but it is also significant because it's the first time a popular character in American children's literature has acknowledged Ramadan. Previously, all books related to Ramadan were original works created by Muslim authors/artists.

The art is very appealing and the storyline is both simple and engaging. Highly recommend for anyone looking to diversify their children's reading experiences.
