This book does what a dictionary should: provide concise and informative content for a wide array of philosophical topics and personages. It is clearly written, although some topics are, by their nature, just plain difficult to understand. Each article includes a bibliography, something that the Cambridge Dictionary of Philosophy doesn't. When reading any philosophy book, this book ought to be close at hand for consultation.
