Poems of Apology and Forgiveness

Just wanted to see this book for its beautiful illustrations by Pamela Zagarenski and was pleased to find a treasure of kids poetry dedicated to Kenneth Koch's "Rose, Where Did You Get That Red," one of my faves of all time. These poems were funny, touching, and altogether enjoyable, especially the poem "It Was Quiet" written by Tenzin to his dog Einstein, as an apology for having to put him down, and Mr. Johnson's response poem to Tenzen letting him know "Losing Einstein" in that way was how a dog should go: with you loving him and he loving you back.
