I rarely bother watching anything called a "comedy" these days, because to be blunt I rarely find anything funny about most of them. Hollywood churns out this vile garbage and people buy into the hype and voila...you have a "hit" movie that very few people will actually admit to liking. But they also seem to feel hesitant to dare be different, and say what they truly thought about it. I mean, how can you think a movie was so bad if everyone else supposedly loved it, right? Shows the power of the Hollywood hype machine...half these loser movies today are being branded a big hit before they are even released to the general public...that should tell you something right there, but people still get sucked in. This one in particular was really bad, because yes, DeNiro is usually a decent actor. Not GREAT, as the sycophant reviewers all tell us endlessly, but decent. That he would involve himself in this crap just shows how desperate actors are to stay "on top" no matter what. Avoid this if you want to ever respect DeNiro again.
