Overall, Dave Ramsey has some really insightful advice to finances. How relevant it is to you will vary. As a younger reader, some of the items in the book were not things I had even begun to think about (such as purchasing a house). I also believe the book is somewhat dated. Wages in the United States are stagnant while inflation on big purchases like homes have risen well above his suggested inflation rate of 4%. It's definitely worth a read, but I would take his advice with a grain of salt.
